100% Hunter Valley Semillon

This is a 'single vineyard' wine produced from grapes grown on the home J.Y.T vineyard in the heart of Pokolbin, at the foot of the Brokenback Mountain range. Our Limited Release range of wines is made only in exceptional vintages in very small quantities, where the fruit is deemed to show true varietal character.

This is the fifth time a wine has appeared under this label and is a fine example of the famed Hunter Valley Semillon style at its best. This wine is cool fermented in stainless steel, without the influence of oak and limited skin contact, to ensure the maximum retention of Semillon fruit characters.

Pale straw green in colour this wine exhibits lifted Semillon characters of limes and lemongrass with subtle grapefruit notes. A crisp and lively palate, with intense citrus fruit essence and a long and refreshingly intense finish with good mineral structure. Enjoy this wine now or celllar until 2018.

Each of our Limited Release wines are named after members of the Tulloch family, with the Julia Semillon named after Julia Tulloch, who is the wife of current winemaker and Director, Jay Tulloch.
