Visitors to the Tulloch Cellar Door in Pokolbin can taste and purchase a limited number of very special releases of select Hunter Valley wines. Each of these wines are created expressly for Cellar Door visitors and special event guests. Selections change from time to time as the harvest and season permits.

Please note any of the wines listed in the Exclusive Cellar Door Release section of the website are not available for purchase in bottle shops, but can be purchased and freighted direct to you from our cellar door, by downloading an order form from the 'Order' section of the website or by using the 'contact us' section of the website.

NEW VINTAGE RELEASE: The 2007 Private Bin Pokolbin Dry Red Shiraz continues Tulloch's tradition of producing premium quality, old vine Shiraz from the Hunter Valley under this label. This wine was the iconic Australian wine of its time, enjoying a reputation that was second to none. As the late Len Evans remembered in a Gourmet Traveller article in 2006, "At the end of the 60's, Grange was the same price as Tulloch's Private Bin (a classic Hunter red)."

This is a 'single vineyard' wine produced from grapes grown on the home J.Y.T vineyard in the heart of Pokolbin, at the foot of the Brokenback Mountain range. Our Limited Release range of wines is made only in exceptional vintages in very small quantities, where the fruit is deemed to show true varietal character.
